Responsibility
Trading Responsibly in a Transitioning World.
How we handle environment, social, and governance in a physical commodity trading book.
Our Approach
Standards we hold ourselves to.
We operate in an industry central to the energy transition. That transition is measured in decades. What we control today is the discipline we bring to each cargo, each counterparty, and each contract. The list below reflects standards we apply.
Environment
- Spill prevention through vessel vetting (SIRE / CDI) and ship-to-ship best practices.
- Preference for suppliers with lower-methane-intensity production where verifiable.
- MARPOL compliance across chartered tonnage.
- Paperless documentation across the trade lifecycle.
Social
- Safety is a condition of doing business. Zero tolerance for unsafe practice in terminal operations.
- Alignment with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
- No tolerance for forced or child labor anywhere in the supply chain.
Governance
- Anti-bribery and anti-corruption: zero-tolerance FCPA policy across every counterparty and jurisdiction.
- Counterparty screening and full KYC, including beneficial-ownership verification.
- Confidential whistleblower reporting channel.
- Segregation of duties across trading, operations, and finance.
In Closing
We view responsible trading as risk management, not marketing.
